Affected Routes: 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 30, 41, 44, 49, 61, 74, 79.

On September 10, RTA adjusted several routes and trips to ensure service efficiency, better connections, access to popular destinations and improved on-time performance. Some weekend trips with low ridership were removed and some service frequencies were decreased due to a nationwide shortage of coach operators.

Route 1: Weekend service frequency was adjusted from 15 minutes to every 30 minutes.

Route 8: Service to Canyon Estates and Saddle Ridge was discontinued due to low ridership. The weekday and weekend schedule in both directions was adjusted to improve connections with Route 9 at the Lake Elsinore Outlet Center.

Route 9: The weekday schedule in both directions was adjusted to improve connections with Route 8 at the Lake Elsinore Outlet Center and Route 19 at the Perris Station Transit Center.

Route 10: The westbound timepoint #7W is located at stop 1150 at Orange and 12th instead of stop 1148. Both stops will continue to be served.

Route 11: Service along portions of Ironwood and Hemlock avenues were discontinued due to low ridership. The route was also adjusted to serve the March Veterans Village on N Street. Weekend schedules were adjusted to decrease frequencies from 65 minutes to every 120 minutes.

Route 12: The route no longer travels to Center Street and instead travels along Chase Road.

Route 13: The route no longer travels along Monroe Street and Colorado Avenue but instead travels along Van Buren Boulevard. The eastbound timepoint #7 (stop 1652) at Chicago and Marlborough is no longer a timepoint but it will continue to be served. Weekend schedules were adjusted to decrease frequencies from 60 minutes to every 90 minutes.

Route 14: The weekday eastbound trip departing Indiana Avenue and Madison at 5:09 a.m. leaves at 5:07 a.m. to improve connections with other routes at University Avenue and Lemon Street. Weekend schedules were adjusted to decrease frequencies from 60 minutes to every 90 minutes.

Route 16: Weekend schedules were adjusted to decrease frequencies from 15 minutes to every 30 minutes.

Route 19: The weekday northbound timepoint #4 is located at stop 2022 on Lasselle and College Drive instead of stop 1982. The weekday southbound timepoint #4 is located at stop 2119 on Lasselle and Calle Agua instead of stop 1982. The route will continue to serve stop 1982 in both directions. Weekend schedules were adjusted to decrease frequencies from 15 minutes to every 30 minutes.

Route 20: The eastbound timepoint #2 is located at stop 2359 at Mission Grove and Mission Village instead of stop 2358. The westbound timepoint #2 is located at stop 2405 at Mission Grove and Mission Village instead of stop 2199. The route will continue to serve stops 2358 and 2199 in both directions.

Route 21: A new weekday northbound trip departs the Galleria at Tyler at 6:24 a.m. and a new southbound trip departs the Jurupa Valley/Pedley Metrolink Station at 7 a.m. to better connect with trains at the Pedley Metrolink Station.

Route 22: The northbound timepoint #6 was moved to stop 2359 on Mission Grove and Mission Village instead of stop 2358. The southbound timepoint #6 was moved to stop 2405 on Mission Grove and Mission Village instead of stop 2199. The route will continue to serve stops 2199 and 2358. Weekend schedules were adjusted to decrease frequencies from 60 minutes to every 90 minutes.

Route 27: Weekend schedules were adjusted to decrease frequencies from 60 minutes to every 90 minutes.

Route 28: Weekend schedules were adjusted to decrease frequencies from 40 minutes to every 60 minutes.

Route 30: The weekday school-days-only trip that departed Nuevo and Ruby at 3:45 p.m. now departs from Orange Vista High School at 3:54 p.m. The weekday 3:55 p.m. trip that departed the Perris Station Transit Center now departs at 3:40 p.m. A new weekday trip departs the Perris Station Transit Center at 5:10 a.m. to better connect with Metrolink service.

Route 41: Weekend service was discontinued due to low ridership.

Route 44: Weekday and weekend schedules were adjusted to improve connections with Route 31 at Mt. San Jacinto College.

Route 49: The weekday eastbound trip that departed from Mission Boulevard and Pedley Road at 6:48 a.m. now leaves at 6:47 a.m. to improve connections with Route 13 in downtown Riverside.

Route 61: Weekday and weekend schedules were adjusted to maintain on-time performance and efficiency.

Route 74: The portion of the route from Sun City to Perris Station Transit Center was discontinued and weekday and weekend frequencies were improved from 75-95 minutes to every 70 minutes.

Route 79: The portion of the route from Promenade Mall to Old Town Temecula was discontinued due to low ridership and weekday and weekend frequencies were improved to every 85 minutes.
