Synopsis: Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) invites bids from qualified contractors to remove the existing emergency backup generators at its RTA Riverside-CA and Hemet-CA facilities and replace them with diesel emergency backup generators along with the installation of components. Prospective bidders shall possess a Class “B” and a “C-10” contractor’s license to meet the requirements of the project. The Project will also require Contractor to possess a minimum of five years’ experience and have performed similar projects.
Required Licenses: Class B (General Building) and C10 (Electrical). The cost estimate ranges from $400,000 to $550,000.
The Bidder itself, as the prime contractor, must possess a Class B license, meaning the Class B license requirement cannot be satisfied merely by identifying a subcontractor with a Class B license.
