Synopsis: The Riverside Transit Agency invites proposals from qualified firms to manage and operate the Agency's commuter and fixed route services as described in the RFP as a turnkey operation. with the Agency providing the vehicles. The successful firm will operate the services for an initial term of three years, with two one-year options. Services will commence July 1, 2021.
The selected Contractor shall provide for all other requirements for the operation of commuter and fixed route services, including but not limited to: management, personnel, dispatching, operations, facility, maintenance, fuel, insurance, record keeping and reporting, computer hardware and administrative software, telecommunications equipment and system, and vehicles for driver relief and road supervision.
To support the provision of the service, the Agency will provide a mixed fleet of vehicles (including spares) equipped with GFI fare collection boxes. Agency staff will administer this contract, receive and provide oversight of customer complaints, and prepare and produce all informational materials.
