Synopsis: Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for the removal of existing bus shelter facility, trees, stumps, roots, curb, gutter, sidewalk, cold plane asphalt concrete pavement, as required to construct PCC bus turnout, sidewalk, curb, asphalt concrete overlay, and reinstallation of bus shelter facility. The contractor is to perform work as outlined in the project’s specifications on Magnolia Avenue at Galleria and Tyler in Riverside, California. Prospective bidders shall possess a Class “A” contractor’s license to meet the requirements of the project.
This is a public works project subject to California Prevailing Wage Laws which require:
• Only registered contractors/subcontractors may be included on bidders lists for public works projects; and
• Only registered contractors/subcontractors may be awarded a public works contract.
