| Synopsis |
In general, the work shall consist of the construction of an eight bay bus transit station. Major components of this project include driver’s restroom building, passenger stairway/elevator/ bridge structure spanning the BNSF railway siding track and connecting to the existing Metrolink bridge. The remainder of the site work will include concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalk, driveways, vehicular concrete pavement, decorative pedestrian pavements, drainage facilities, retaining walls, landscaping and irrigation and lighting along with bus plaza improvements comprised of shade shelters, benches, trash receptacles, and other miscellaneous passenger amenities. |

The Bid documents and Construction drawings will be available on CD starting 7/29/09 for a non-refundable payment of $30.00 at the Agency’s main office located at 1825 Third Street, Riverside, CA 92507 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excepting holidays. Acceptable forms of payment at the front window are credit card or cash. Requests to have CDs mailed may be faxed or sent via e-mail; the non-refundable payment of $40.00 (credit card, cashier's check only) must be received before CDs will be sent. Each potential Bidder shall provide contact information and an e-mail address to which any Bid Document Addenda may be sent.
Bid submittals will be due at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009; a pre-bid conference is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6 at the Agency’s facility located at 1825 Third Street, Riverside, CA 92507 followed by project site visit at 31 E. Grand Boulevard, Corona, California 92879. |
