Thanks to your suggestions, the Riverside Transit Agency has maked improvements to several routes. We’ve added new stops, boosted service to popular destinations and expanded our hours. We’ve even created two new express routes with service to area Metrolink stations. The upgrades reflect RTA’s pledge to deliver safe, reliable, courteous, accessible and user-friendly service to all our customers.

As part of RTA’s service upgrades, our Customer Information Center has expanded its hours to better meet your travel needs:
Mon-Fri 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. | Sat-Sun 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Route 1: The western end of this route now ends at 6th and Smith streets in Corona with special branch service to the West Corona Metrolink Station for train connections. On the route’s eastern end, it travels along a portion of University Ave. instead of Third St. to improve service along the major corridor and at UC Riverside. | View Map and Schedule
Route 7: Service frequency increases because the route will no longer travel on Riverside Dr. That road will now be served by Route 8. Due to increased demand for service, the hours of operation have expanded on weekdays and weekends. With a boosted service frequency, passengers will benefit from improved connections at the Lake Elsinore Outlet Center to routes 8, 22 and 206. New service is provided to businesses and residences in the Auto Center and Canyon Estates neighborhoods. | View Map and Schedule
Route 8: This route has been extended to Lake Elsinore Outlet Center, offering connections with routes 7, 22 and 206. Hours of operation have been expand on weekends and weekdays. Expanded service will benefit trips to schools such as Lakeside High School and new service to Terra Cotta Middle School. | View Map and Schedule
Route 10: The route has been extended along Third St. from Market St. to Big Springs Rd. and Watkins Dr. | View Map and Schedule
Route 14: With Route 1 now serving University Ave., Route 14 now serves Third St. east of Market St. and continues east to Big Springs Rd. and Watkins Dr. | View Map and Schedule
Route 16: Due to the increased popularity of Route 16 for UCR students and the requests from students for more RTA service, this route has been realigned to serve bus stops on Campus Drive. | View Map and Schedule
Route 16E: The Route 16E has been discontinued due to duplication with Route 16, CommuterLink 208 and the new CommuterLink 210. The new CommuterLink Route 210 provides replacement express service between Moreno Valley and Riverside and services the Riverside Downtown Terminal and the downtown Riverside Metrolink station.
Route 18: Weekday schedules adjusted and extended by 30 minutes.
Route 19: Weekday schedules adjusted to improve service to Val Verde Academy High School and the Starcrest industrial facility.
Route 21: Weekday and weekend schedules adjusted and this route now serves Jurupa Valley High School. | View Map and Schedule
Route 22: Due to increased requests for earlier service, weekend service from Lake Elsinore now begins at 7:34 a.m. instead of 8:49 a.m.
Route 25: Schedule adjusted to better meet local school bell times and allow for later evening service.
Route 27: The last two weekday southbound trips extended from the Hemet Valley Mall to Florida and Lincoln.
Route 29: Instead of terminating at Bellegrave and Etiwanda avenues, this route has been extended into the Jurupa Valley area and terminates at Limonite and Hamner avenues to serve new shopping centers in Eastvale. | View Map and Schedule
Route 33: Extended service to East Hemet with new service to Dartmouth Middle School and Hemet High School, and the Super Wal-Mart in the west. | View Map and Schedule
Route 36: Better connections to Omnitrans in Yucaipa as service is rerouted from Redlands Mall. The northern end of this route now serves Yucaipa High School where customers can transfer to Omnitrans routes 8 and 9 to the Redlands Mall. | View Map and Schedule
Route 38: Service expanded in Eastvale, connecting residents to the shopping center at Limonite Avenue and Pats Ranch Road, Jurupa Valley High School and Route 38E. Service to Pedley Metrolink Station discontinued. | View Map and Schedule
Route 38E: This new express route is an extension of Route 38, connecting Eastvale and Norco to the East Ontario Metrolink Station where passengers may transfer to Omnitrans buses or Metrolink trains. | View Map and Schedule
Route 39 (Jurupa Shuttle): Has been designated Route 39 and no longer deviates from the route. Twice as many trips per day, and earlier and later service will be added. Stops added along Jurupa Rd. between Pedley Rd. and Etiwanda Ave. with new service on Bellegrave Ave. between Etiwanda and Lindsay St. The route also extended in the Sunnyslope community along Armstrong Rd. | View Map and Schedule
Route 41: Enhanced with seven new midday trips.
Route 61: Extended service south to Temecula with new stops at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, Rancho Springs Hospital and the Promenade Mall. | View Map and Schedule
Route 204: Service extend to the University of California, Riverside. Some early morning and late afternoon trips discontinued due to low ridership. | View Map and Schedule
Route 206: Route now offers new Saturday service with new stops at the Corona Crossings and the Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos in Corona, and a connection to the Galleria at Tyler. | View Map and Schedule
Route 208: To reduce times by 20 minutes, stops with low ridership at County Center Drive in Temecula and Mt. San Jacinto College in Menifee have been discontinued. Southbound a.m. trips and northbound p.m. trips continue to stop in Moreno Valley. | View Map and Schedule
Route 210: This new CommuterLink route travels Highway 60, linking the cities of Banning, Beaumont, Moreno Valley and Riverside. The a.m. trips meet train connections at the downtown Riverside Metrolink station with two trips from the Pass Area stopping in the City of Moreno Valley before terminating at the downtown Metrolink station. Additional a.m. trips start in Moreno Valley with destinations to the Metrolink station and the downtown Riverside Transit Center. | View Map and Schedule |
