RIDING THE BUS | Public School

Taking public transit to and from school could be the easiest thing students do all day.

They can sit back, relax, read, listen to music, mentally add up all the money they're saving (rather, saving their parents) on gas, or even nap. They can leave the driving to the experts and dash off to class without giving a second thought about getting to and from school.

The Riverside Transit Agency is the number-one source of travel for thousands of students across western Riverside County. Not only is public transit affordable, it's also clean, reliable and extremely safe. In fact, safety is RTA's number-one goal and we take several steps to ensure a pleasant experience for every customer on every trip. Rides are only $1.50 and discounted 30-day passes are available to students in grades 1-12 for only $35. And with a 30-day pass you can use it to get anywhere we travel, including nights and weekends. Click here to see how cheap it can be to ride the bus.

Most bus routes travel within a mile of a school, and several routes provide direct service to campuses. So, find your school below and see which bus routes can get you there. Our friendly drivers are glad to assist students and our Customer Information Center is always available to find the nearest stop and the best route to class. You can reach the center at (951) 565-5002 or 511.
