Nearly
20 routes will be enhanced
RIVERSIDE,
CA — (May, 8, 2007) — As part
of its ongoing commitment to customer
service, the Riverside Transit
Agency (RTA) will make several
changes to its routes and timetables,
effective May 13.
The
schedule and/or routing changes
will affect the following bus
routes: 1, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18,
19, 21, 22, 24, 29, 31, 35, 36,
41, 50, 202 and 208. The upgrades
also include a new trolley service,
the Route 52, which began last
week serving downtown Riverside
restaurants, the Mission Inn,
the courthouse, the Metrolink
station and other places of interest.
Schedule
changes will affect routes 1,
7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 19, 21,
22, 24, 29, 41, 50, 202 and 208.
Routing changes will affect routes
12, 18, 22, 24, 31, 35, 36 and
50.
The
upgrades are designed to enhance
public transit in the region by
adjusting arrival and departure
times and routing to meet customers’
evolving needs and changing traffic
patterns. RTA’s schedule improvements
routinely occur every four months.
